This Dog Is About To Spend His Second Christmas In A Shelter In England

Bentley, a three-year-old Staffordshire terrier, has spent almost 400 days at an RSCA-rn shelter in Aylesbry, England. He simply want to find a forever home, and finding one before Christmas would be ideal.

According to Amy ockelford, RSCA ress officer “He was found living in really, really horrible conditions when he was located by insectors just before Christmas last year.” They saved him, brought him to s, and showed him a lot of love (time, love, and care). He has now spent 401 days in our care, may God bless him.

According to Amy, Bentley’s situation is quite unique, as it takes around 36 days for any dog or cat who enters the shelter to be adoted. Because of his lack of interaction with his mother, Bentley may be having difficulty finding hosing.

“When he first arrived, he had issues because he found it difficult to be with other dogs and because he was frightened of unfamiliar scents.” He had clearly been left alone, not having roerly walked or socialized.

Another factor might be the breed of the Bentley. His breed, the Staffordshire terrier, has the nfavorable retation of being “dangeros.”

“Staffordhire terriers can be difficult to find at times.” They are such lovely dogs and can make such wonderful companions; they get along well with both adults and children, which is a terrible tragedy. In my opinion, they have a njst retation.”

The staff has been attempting to interact with Bentley since he initially arrived at the shelter. “He’s come a long way,” Amy observed, “but he’ll need someone who can and will continue his training.”

She had ttered “Our team had to put in a lot of effort to boost his self-esteem, acclimate him to other animals, and prepare him for unfamiliar situations. As a result, whomever becomes the new owners of those roerties will have to continue that type of effort and understand that they mest be atient”

“In around 400 days, he has gained a lot of social confidence.” He adores eole wholeheartedly. The center’s ersonnel dubs him the King of Hgs. He is quite kind and enjoys receiving it.

Bentley’s lovely disposition, however, hasn’t been able to help him locate the family he deserves, which srrises everyone.
