Julie Docherty was hesitant to get a pet immediately away after moving to Los Angeles. It was a significant time commitment, and she was still adjusting to her new surroundings, so she volunteered to walk dogs at a nearby shelter instead. During her first visit to the shelter, however, she fell in love with MoMo, an 11-year-old Chihuahua, and ended up adopting him!
She decided to take in three larger chihuahuas after discovering that the canine has many senior pets. Julie’s four Chihuahuas (Benito, MoMo, Choli, and Paloma) are flawless despite the fact that none of them have a single tooth!
The quartet functions as a senior dog club, doing everything together. This lovely Chihuahua pack is living their golden years like kings and queens, from sunbathing to snoozing together!
Julie started taking in geriatric puppies to help them spend their golden years in a forever home. What a lovely person!
