‘She looks like Voldemort but has the heart of Harry Potter and his friends’
Mugsy is one of those small animals that you can tell has had a horrific history simply by looking at it, and it breaks your heart. Thousands of people have been inspired and motivated by a fluffy girl. Here’s his incredible story…
This cute little puppy resides in Iran with her family, who called her Hapoochi (little dog in Iranian). But, unfortunately, the worst occurred to her at one point in her life: a brutal acid assault left her permanently deformed.
However, the circumstances behind the poor furry woman’s attack are unknown; all that is known is that it was done using a corrosive cleaning substance.
Hapoochi was injured in the collision and lost an eye, nose, and part of an ear.
The dog, in fact, required emergency surgery to live. However, her family lacked the financial resources to cover the hefty expense of all the therapies Hapoochi required. They had no option but to put her to sleep since she was in such excruciating pain.
Fortunately, a compassionate individual, a volunteer veterinarian from the animal rescue group Persian Paws Rescue, arrived in time to save the dog’s life.
The baby girl was just a month and a half old when the vet decided to cover the costs on her own. She then proceeded to remove the missing eye fully to save him any discomfort.
When her life was no longer in danger, she was adopted, and her story reached Sam Taylor, a young lady from Canada. She realized she had to give it a shot right now.
“She has the face of Voldemort, but the heart of Harry Potter and his companions.” The photographs on the internet were really gruesome. When I finished reading the narrative, I thought to myself, “Oh, I really want to help this tiny puppy!” “She is now spoilt and well-loved,” Sam acknowledges.
So this fighter was given the opportunity of a new home and went 10,000 kilometers from Iran to Canada to be a member of a new family, where she would get all the love and care she deserved. But Sam was well aware that she had a long way to go.
To begin with, Sam wanted to alter her name in order to leave her past behind, so she chose the name Mugsy.
She had many procedures, some to help her breathe easier and others to repair the damage to her little ears. It was everything done to improve her quality of life, but her appearance would not alter. And that is the most poignant aspect of this story: Sam adores her just as she is, since not even Mugsy is aware of all the compassion and sensitivity within her.
Sam has demonstrated that she is an owner who is willing to sell all she owns in order to improve Mugsy’s life.
He added that the entire cost of the dog’s forthcoming procedures is $10,000, for which he has set up a GoFundMe page, never expecting that thousands of people would be inspired by his story. You may also assist her by going here.
