That’s poor old german shepherd four years old and already doomed. Doomed not to be able to walk. In a deserted construction she was lying there on the cement covered in wounds and urine. It was a nightmare.
She was a guard dog at the construction but now they didn’t need her. They couldn’t afford surgery, so they asked The GoGo shelter volunteers to take her up.
Her name is Martha, Volunteers took Martha to vet. Unfortunately, the doctor has determined that Martha has little possibility of walking and that her life will have to be spent in a wheelchair.
She was slowly recovering and will remain at veterinary clinic for at least another two weeks.
Martha got a wheelchair, she can walk now and she is very happy. She is feeling considerably better, and her wounds are healing as a result of the physicians’ ongoing care.
After 3 weeks they took her to the zoocentre clinic for a thorough review and appointment of physiotherapy, than Martha will be moved there. Rehabilitation will cost around bgn 50-60 each day for a minimum of 20 days.
Volunteers in the Clinic decided to gather people to support this awesome dog and give her strength to be able te recover. She’s been through enough, and she deserves to be happy.
The most important of all, Martha is adopted by a couple and now she live a happy life.
